The Fenix HM65R rechargeable headlamp features a lightweight magnesium alloy construction, high water and drop resistance, a unique dual reflector design and a total output of up to 1400 lumens. One reflector produces a well-focused light beam with a range of up to 163 meters, and the second reflector has a very wide and smooth light trail. The main beam reflector has a luminous flux of up to 1000 lumens, the wide cone reflector offers a maximum output of 400 lumens and a neutral light tint. The control of the two LEDs is independent of each other, the light from both reflectors can be combined freely to achieve a luminous flux of up to 1400 lumens. The main reflector offers four light levels and the wide reflector three. It uses a single 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh for power, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In an emergency, the headlamp can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.
The headlamp is made of magnesium alloy, which is one-third lighter than aluminum. Its design is fully dustproof and waterproof to a depth of 2 meters according to IP68 standard, and also shockproof against drops from a height of 2 meters. The headlamp is also equipped with an extended endurance function. With prolonged use of each light mode, the headlamp gradually reduces power in small increments to achieve longer light duration. The optional light cone shape makes this model one of the best and most versatile rechargeable headlamps on the market. The headlamp is suitable for professional use, a variety of sports activities (hiking, camping, running, cycling, skiing...), underground, for fishermen and other activities. Guaranteed to serve you great in any situation!
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shockproofness) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
The light source in the distance reflector is a Luminus SST-40 LED, the light source in the wide reflector is a Cree XP-G2 R5 with a warmer light tint, both with a 50,000 hour light life.
Remote reflector: 1000 lumens (4 hours) -> 400 lumens (22 hours) -> 130 lumens (42 hours) -> 50 lumens (90 hours).
Wide reflector: 400 lumens (20 hours) -> 130 lumens (48 hours) -> 8 lumens (280 hours).
The long-range reflector produces a light cone with a range of 163 meters (6677 cd), the wide reflector shines up to 55 meters (762 cd).
The headlamp comes with a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a 3400mAh capacity.
Any Fenix 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery from our range can be purchased as a replacement battery.
Alternatively, two disposable CR123A lithium batteries can also be used for power (do not try to recharge them in the headlamp).
Due to the mechanical protection against reverse polarity, the battery must have the plus pole exposed. Older Fenix batteries with a flat plus pole cannot be used.
Digital power control with battery life extension function, indication of battery charge status.
Charging via USB-C connector, charging time for a fully discharged battery is approx. 2.5 hours.
Two switches for convenient operation and with the possibility of locking against unwanted switching on in the luggage.
The headlamp can be tilted in several steps to set the desired direction of light.
Made of lightweight and durable magnesium alloy.
Shock-resistant to falls from a height of 2 metres.
Dimensions of the headlamp: 4,0 cm x 5,5 cm x 8,0 cm.
Weight 147 grams (including battery).
Waterproof and dustproof to IP68 standard (tested underwater at a depth of 2 metres for 30 minutes).
Tempered ultra clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating.
Includes Fenix 18650 3400 mAh Li-ion battery, head straps, USB-C charging cable, replacement o-ring.
A set of black AFH-02 head straps without reflective elements can be purchased - they are suitable for military, police or hunters, for example.
For easy attachment to the helmet, the Fenix ALG-03, ALG-04 mount can be purchased.
Furthermore, the headlamp can be purchased with a Fenix APB-20 case, a large Fenix APB-30 case, a USB mains adapter and a USB car adapter, a USB adapter supporting fast charging and a coloured USB-C cable.
There may be a black insulating cap on the battery pack from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
The remote reflector is switched on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5sec), the wide reflector is switched on by holding down the left button (0.5sec). The light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. After switching off, the headlamp remembers the last set mode (only when switched off in the highest mode, it will switch on next time in the second highest mode for safety reasons). Both headlights can be switched on at the same time.
Indication of battery charge status - after briefly pressing any button (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED battery charge indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is over 80% charged, three lit LEDs 60-80%, two lit LEDs 40-60%, one lit LED 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold them for min 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash to indicate locking. To unlock it is necessary to hold both buttons again for three seconds.
Low battery warning - when the voltage drops below a certain threshold, the headlamp automatically switches to the lowerAz akkumulator lemerült - töltse fel vagy cserélje ki.ho power mode, if the battery status indicator starts flashing while the light is on, the battery is almost dead.
Charging - flip off the USB-C connector cover and plug in the included charging cable, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, powerbank or USB mains or car adapter (not included). During charging, status LEDs show the charging progress. When charging is complete, all four are illuminated. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge a fully discharged battery.
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, it will violate the warranty.
Use only high quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, if using disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp.
If the headlamp flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The battery is dead - charge it or replace it.
The contacts inside the battery case are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
